MOLECULAR SIEVE TRAPS
MOLECULAR SIEVE TRAPS The molecular sieve material is a synthetic zeolite which presents a large surface area and small channels to effectively trap molecules of water and mechanical pump oil from
backstreaming into the chamber. The molecular sieve charge can be reactivated by baking
out the trap through the vacuum pump using the rod heater supplied. Electrical requirement
for the heater is 115 volts. New sieve charges are easily replaced through filler hole in top of
trap. The trap is available with a variety of connections.
