TSP nipple has 864 sq.inches of surface area compared to 108 sq.inches of a standard nipple. Increased surface area increases pumping efficiency. Two hemispherical extrusions are welded together, then metal seal aluminum flanges are welded on each end. One end has a 2.75" tapped and heli-coiled flange detail, the other end has either a 4.5" or 6" metal seal flange with tapped and heli-coiled holes.
